The plan to open Renewal MedSpa, in conjunction with a second Prince William OB/GYN office, began in 2005.  The objective was to create a facility allowing care for the whole woman with physicians overseeing the treatments in the spa.  The initiative for Renewal was spearheaded by Drs. Gutliph and Fegley to create the only medical spa in the area with an expertise in prenatal services. In January of 2010 Anne McBride, MD, an experienced Dermatologist was added to the professional staff to enhance the level of skin care services provided.

Bios

JoAnne Gutliph, M.D., F.A.C.O.G

One of the founding members of Renewal MedSpa and Prince William OB/GYN Associates, Dr. Gutliph is Board Certified in OB/GYN and is a clinical instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.  She attended Hartwick College in New York where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Departmental Honors in Biology.  She attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and then completed her residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She specializes in women’s health, gynecologic surgery, and aesthetic procedures.  Dr. Gutliph is a member of the Medical Spa Society and ASLMS (American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery).  She has had numerous post graduate courses and years of experience in cosmetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers and laser treatments.  Dr. Gutliph was one of the Washingtonian Magazine’s “Top Doctors of the Year” for 2003, 2005 and 2007 and 2010. She lives with her husband and sons in Gainesville.

Michelle Fegley, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Fegley is one of the founding members of Renewal MedSpa.  She attended Albright College, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology and achieved membership in Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude.  She completed her medical degree from Penn State University and her residency at the Medical College of Virginia at VCU.  Dr. Fegley is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She resides in Manassas with her husband, two daughters and son.  Dr. Fegley received the “Top Five in Kudos” in 2005 from Prince William Hospital and was awarded the best OB/GYN in Prince William County by the Potomac News/Manassas Journal Messenger in 2006.   She was one of the Washingtonian Magazine’s “Top Doctors of the Year” for 2007 , and 2009.   Dr. Fegley oversees the prenatal services at Renewal MedSpa.

Anne K. McBride, M.D.

Anne is a respected dermatologist with over 15 years of expertise in treating all types of adult and pediatric dermatology, skin cancers, and dermatological surgeries. Previously, Dr. McBride was in practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Warrenton, Virginia; and in Sarasota, Florida. Dr. McBride received her medical degree in dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is active in several professional and scientific societies, including the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Washington D.C. Dermatology Society, and Sarasota Dermatology Society.

Dr. McBride’s practice reflects her philosophy of providing dermatological care combined with the personal touch. She takes time with each of her patients, ensuring thorough and complete exams, as well as the opportunity to establish open and communicative relationships.

Outside of her dermatology practice, Dr. McBride is a running enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her two adopted daughters from Nepal and China. Her brother, Michael McBride, M.D., is a primary care physician practicing in Sarasota, Florida.
